Notes of Gratitude

On this Thanksgiving Eve, we would like to send our thanks and gratitude to those involved in the aging community, who add so much to the lives of older adults.

To all caregivers, we want to thank you for taking on what often seems to be a thankless task. You go above and beyond for those you care for on a daily basis in a million different ways. We know you don't do it for the gratitude, but a little recognition never hurts. THANK YOU, Caregivers for the difference you make every day!

Each member of our Senior Center staff goes above and beyond to make sure that the needs of their patrons are met. While a shoutout to each of them by name would make this post far too long, we want them each to know that we recognize the hard work they put in everyday. We are grateful to have such a caring team of Senior Centers across our Five County area!

We are lucky to live and work in an area with such a strong sense of community ties and partnership. We get to work alongside of so many wonderful agencies and professionals. We each have our own job to do, but we are grateful that we are all able to come together to serve our community!

The DAAS team is a great group of individuals without whom, we wouldn't be able to bring programs such as the National Caregiver Support Program, SHIP/SMP, the Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, and the Senior Nutrition Program. We are grateful to work with the amazing DAAS staff! Thank you all for everything you do!

We want to say thank you to our staff for their hard work, commitment, dedication and service to the community.

Finally, to all of you reading this. THANK YOU for taking the time to read our updates. By interacting with us online and in person, you are a part of our aging community and we are grateful for the role that you fill. We look forward to continuing our interactions with you and hope to get to know each of you better in the future.
