About the event
The Diabetes Self-Management Program (DSMP) is a 6-week group program for people with type 2 diabetes. The program was developed by Stanford University to help you manage your diabetes symptoms, tiredness, pain, and emotional issues, by helping you learn skills to better manage your diabetes day to day.
Diabetes Self-Management education and workshops are a collaborative process through which people with diabetes gain the knowledge and skills needed to modify their behavior and successfully self-manage the disease and its related conditions. This process incorporates the needs, goals, and life experiences of the person with diabetes and is guided by evidence-based standards.

- Healthy coping
- Reducing risks
