Join Us For A Journey Into A Whole New World At The 19th Annual Southern Utah Seniors Conference!

The 19th Annual Southern Utah Seniors Conference is less than two weeks away! When we began planning this conference several months ago, we had no way of knowing if we would be able to meet in person for this event so we decided to go forward with another virtual conference. Last year’s virtual conference was a learning experience for everyone, and this year’s conference will be even more enriching and engaging than last year’s conference. We will have amazing speakers (we’ll be introducing them and their topics in next week’s blog) and fun activities, all in a user-friendly format!

Registration is simple. Just go to www.southernutahseniorsconference.org and click on the button that says “Register Now”. Fill out the registration form and click Sign Up.

Once you are registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email. In a separate email, you’ll get the link to the Zoom meeting as well as a form asking you to choose your breakout session. In that email you’ll also be asked where you would like to pick up your goodie bag.

Before the conference, you will need to download the Zoom app, if you don’t already have it, on your computer, tablet or smartphone.

On May 7th, just before 10AM, click on the link from your email and you’ll be taken to the waiting room of the conference. Make sure the name on your Zoom account matches the one you used to register. Once a member of the conference team finds your name on the registration list, you’ll be admitted to the meeting. When it’s time for the breakout sessions, you’ll be automatically moved into your assigned breakout session. But don’t worry about missing the other breakout sessions. They’ll all be available on the Seniors Conference website after the conference.

Want to watch the Seniors Conference but don’t have access to technology? Your local Senior Center may be broadcasting the Seniors Conference as well. Check with them to find out if you can watch the Southern Utah Seniors Conference from there!

Still not sure about the conference? Check out what our friends Susan and Rosie have to say about attending the conference in a virtual format.
