Below is one of the programs that you may qualify for.
Affordable Connectivity Program
Internet access is now necessary for school, work and healthcare and more. However, for many households, it remains unaffordable. The Federal Communications Commission wants everyone to access reasonably priced internet prices. The Affordable Connectivity Program has launched a new program to help reduce the cost of getting internet at home.
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) provides discounts of up to :
$30 per month toward internet service for eligible households.
$75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal Lands.
Some Households may receive a one- time discount of up to $100 towards a purchase of a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers. To qualify for this, households must contribute more than $10 and less than $ 50 toward the purchase.
Do you Qualify?
There are several different ways that you may qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program.
Based on you household Income- 200% or less than the Federal Poverty Guidelines
If you or your child or dependent participate in certain government assistance programs such as: - SNAP - Medicaid - WIC - Supplemental Security Income (SSI) -Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit -Free and Reduced- Price Lunch - Received a Federal Pell Grant in the current award year
Please note that not all Internet Companies participate in the Affordable Connectivity Program.
