Weekly Update

March 27, 2020

At this point nothing significant has changed in regards to our current operations in response to COVID-19 from last week. We are still responding to specific issues/concerns as they may arise and addressing individual needs as appropriate. We have remained in close contact with our community partners, as well as Local, State and National partners and officials.


Over the past weeks, we have recognized that creativity is key and have begun to brainstorm and implement new and creative ways to outreaching to our community. Read more here.

Area Agency on Aging-Five County is continuing to closely monitor the COVID-19 virus situation in Southwest Utah. At this time, every effort is being made to continue to provide critical services, while taking into account the safety directives provided by Local and State Health Department, State and Federal Partners and Elected Officials. AAA-Five County has been in touch with community resources and partners. We have compiled updates from many of them here for ease of access. We will continue to be in contact with community resources and partners and strive to provide updates on the information we receive. Local Grocery Stores To Provide Special Hours and Services

March 18, 2020

Our staff has been diligently working to assess resources within our community available to seniors at this time. We have been in touch with many grocery stores throughout the Five County area, and have created a guide based on the information we were given.  

Update: Senior Center Services

March 16, 2020

Senior Centers in the Five County area are operated at the County level, but AAA-Five County remains in close contact with each of the Counties and their designated Senior Center leaders. At this time, each County has made their decisions related to operations within their centers. More details can be found on our blog
